Chester Zoo

Zoos are, in many places, vital for not only conservation of endangered species, but the education of the local population on matters of conservation, ecology and zoology. There is no better way in my opinion to engage people with animals they would likely never see in their lives than to allow them to observe these beautiful creatures themselves.

It is for this reason that it is important that people support their local zoos, which for me is Chester Zoo, which is rated as one of the best zoos in the United Kingdom and is deserving of the title. These images were taken during my last few trips to Chester Zoo.
