The Eden Project

Once a heavily industrialised clay pit, the Eden Project in St. Blazey, Cornwall, is a complex of state-of-the-art botanical gardens and educational facilities aimed to teach the public about ecology, environmentalism and the natural mechanisms of plant life.

The gardens are world-renowned for their two colossal greenhouse domes, both emulating the biomes of a tropical rainforest and temperate Mediterranean respectively. Wandering the biomes and viewing the gardens' many contemporary art pieces makes the Eden Project a wonderfully unique learning experience.
