Often referred to as England's second capital, Manchester is the second largest city in the UK and isn't far from where I grew up making me far more familiar with the city. As one of the great powerhouses of the North, especially in more recent years, Manchester has been subject to change and is rapidly blossoming into a beacon of progressive, forward thinking.

 

This wave of modernism, combining with remnants of the city's industrial past, create a unique architectural environment which I will be displaying in the photographs on this page.
